4 tips to make your next winter gathering a hit!

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

The winter season is slowly settling in.

Now is the time to cozy up with some hot cocoa and marshmallows ( have you ever tasted homemade marshmallows ? It’s divine !! But let’s not get distracted here!)

As I was saying, the proper tablescape can turn those cold nights into warm and inviting moments.

So, if you are planning to have a gathering at your fancy chalet or at home this winter, here are 4 tips to make it a hit.

1) Whoever thinks of winter thinks of the classic TARTAN PRINT also called plaids.

It’s a nice touch to make your winter decor all cozy...think of a blanket by the fireplace.

Here, I used it as a decorative element on a napkin.

2) To add warmth to your table, consider adding some rustic elements. For me, personalizing my tables is a must, so I've added wooden names, and you can also add wooden boards for presentation to make it even more special.

3) A good winter mood depends on the menu you choose.

Anything slow-cooked or braised will do.

I am a huge fan of warm, comforting homemade french onion soup.

( Getting hungry here!)

4) Of course, your tablescape isn't complete without the proper tableware.

Sky is the limit of course, but if you want that fancy cabin feel, go for texture!

The perfect china set just won't do, try handmade pottery instead!

The more imperfections, the better it is.

You're ready to host your next winter gathering! Let me know how that went and if there is anything else you need to know in order to make it even more memorable
